Patterned glass is either white or coloured glass which a decorative pattern is applied to, at the end of the manufacturing process in the glass furnace. This is done by sliding the glass between two rollers while it is still soft. A pattern is applied to one side of the rollers. Patterned glass comes in a wide range of varieties. Also in, for example, insulating glass, virtually any type of patterned glass can be applied.
